The objects of the Association (from the current constitution) are:
- To foster good fellowship among all Dilworth Old Boys and to maintain their interest in the School.
- To keep before Old Boys their duty to assist, particularly younger members, in gaining a foothold in their chosen trades and professions on leaving school.
The objects of the Association (from the revised and yet to be sanctioned constitution) are:
- To foster good fellowship among all Dilworth Old Boys and to maintain their interest in the Association and the School.
- To arrange at least one Old Boys Reunion Function each year. This will normally coincide with St Patrick’s Day School Celebrations and the Annual General Meeting of the Association.
- To appoint Sub-Committees for the encouragement and facilitation of “Class Group” reunions across the full spectrum of age groups within the Association.
- To establish and maintain a “Dilworth Old Boys” website so that information and news is readily accessible to all interested parties.
- To maintain close links with the School through regular meetings with the Principal, and through sporting and social contacts with the present students.
- To provide, when required, expertise and advice on career choices for the students at the School.
To offer, when required, hospitality to students with inadequate family support in their home area. - To promote and support the two independent charitable trusts known as the Dilworth Old Boys Centennial Foundation Trust and the Dilworth Old Boys Benevolent Trust .
- To keep a watching brief on Old Boys who are infirm either by age or ill health and thus ensure appropriate and meaningful attendances are arranged.
